The production of LED displays generally goes through processes such as design, procurement, production, semi-finished products, and finished products aging before they can be delivered to users and then put into market use. The Aging test is the last process before delivery of LED display products. What is the significance of this process? Let's talk about some common senses related to the LED display aging test. 

First of all, we must know why the aging test is required?

Most of the products that have just come out on the production line have the complete functions of their design and can be directly put into use, but why do they need to be an aging test? Product quality theory tells us that most of the occurrence of product failures occur In the initial stage and the final stage, the final stage is the normal life of the product, which cannot be controlled, but the initial stage can be controlled. It can be controlled within the factory gate. That is to do a sufficient aging test before the product is delivered to the user to kill the problem. In the factory, the aging test is to achieve a satisfactory pass rate. Almost all products must undergo an aging test before leaving the factory. 

The LED display aging test is to simulate whether it will be abnormal when it works for a long time. It is the last necessary step to ensure product quality and complete production. LED displays can improve performance after aging and contribute to stable performance in later use. The LED display aging test is a countermeasure taken according to the product's failure rate curve, that is, the characteristics of the bathtub curve, so as to improve the reliability of the product.

White light aging

Constant current aging and constant voltage aging are includes in LED display aging methods. The current is constant at any time is a constant current source, otherwise, it is alternating current or pulsating current. The alternating current or pulsating current source can be designed to have a constant effective value, but this kind of power source cannot be called a constant current source. Constant current aging is the most scientific LED display aging method in line with the working characteristics of LED current. Over-current impact aging is also the latest aging method adopted by manufacturers. This aging can be performed by a constant current source with adjustable current, which can judge the quality and expected life of the LED display in a short time, and it can pick out many hidden LED displays that cannot be singled out by conventional aging. 

The aging test of LED display is divided into two kinds: 

1. Video aging (48 hours);

2. White light aging (4 hours);

Video aging

Attention should be paid to the aging test of LED display: 

1. Monochrome, grayscale gradient test should not less than 48 hours,

2. The white screen test time of the LED display should not less than 48 hours,

3. The video and text effect test shall not be less than 48 hours

4. The test content should include a white screen, red, green, blue monochrome, grayscale gradient, video effect, text effect, etc.

After the LED display has undergone the video aging or whitening test, there may still be problems or problems that cannot be found in the multiple screen test. Therefore, Therefore, in addition to careful inspection in accordance with the test items during the aging test, professional-quality inspectors are still required to check the products before they are ready for loading after completing the standard aging time.
